HealthJibe

HealthJibe is an employer sponsored app that is provided to employees as part of a health benefits plan. It brings health risk awareness, prevention, lifestyle habits, and cost transparency into the employee’s daily digital routine. Rewards are earned from participating reward partners and through rewards offered by employers when sponsoring the HealthJibe app for their employees.

Risk Awareness: HealthJibe maintains a Metabolic Syndrome profile for each plan participant that is determined by a once a year screening that includes a lipid profile, a blood glucose measurement, a blood pressure measurement, and a waist circumference measurement.

Metabolic Syndrome is a cluster of health risk factors strongly associated with the development of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes and thus increased future health care spend. Through an integration with LabCorp, HealthJibe users can easily get a metabolic syndrome screening at any LabCorp patient service center and have their results electronically transferred to HealthJibe as soon as they are available.

Prevention: HealthJibe prepares a personalized preventive health care plan for each user based on age and gender, and consistent with the US Preventive Care Task Force recommendations. HealthJibe keeps the user up to date on when screenings are due and enforces compliance with the care plan.

Lifestyle Habits: HealthJibe works with leading wireless health and fitness trackers to help users stay on top of key lifestyle habits including physical activity, weight and body composition, blood pressure, and blood sugar. Users earn points for each measurement received by a supported device.

Cost Transparency: Through an integration with Navmd Analytics™, a leading healthcare data analytics platform, HealthJibe provides each user with insight into their overall risk profile (current, future, and demographic risk) based on Episode Risk Groups (ERGs) derived from medical and pharmacy claims. In addition, the user is provided with summaries of total spending for medical and pharmacy claims during the current year. The user can drill-down to see individual claims information.

Further, pharmacy claim information is compared to national average drug pricing through GoodRx in order to educate and incent employees to lower drug spending.
Future plans include cost transparency and incentives for medical claims as well.

Reward: Employees can earn significant rewards simply by developing awareness about their emerging health risks and staying on top of recommended preventive care screenings and exams. Regular use of the HealthJibe App allows the employee to accumulate points, and when 100 points are reached, one or more rewards can be earned.
